Help with joining a call from a mobile device.
Once the app has downloaded, you can use the browser link, or manually enter the room extension found in the meeting invite. You should enter your name (as you would like it displayed in the call). You may also be required to enter a PIN number for the meeting, this PIN will be provided in the meeting email invite and it should be entered manually in the space provided.
When joining, the camera and microphone may be disabled. To enable these, simply click on them.
If after ending your call you see a red notification bar along the top of your iPhone or iPad, please do not be alarmed. The call will have ended, but the app will still be open and you may find it has been minimised into the background. To resolve this please follow the below:
- On an iPhone X or later, or an iPad with iOS 12 or later or iPad OS – from the Home Screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
- On an iPhone 8 or earlier – double-click the Home button to display your most recently used apps.
- Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
- Swipe up on the app’s preview to close the app.
